Put margarine in the pan until sizzling. Then put in the chicken and cook slightly on each side. Then pour in barbecue sauce and Coke and stir until chicken is covered. Put lid on pan and let chicken simmer until cooked through. Serve with butter potatoes.
Put 2-3 Tablespoons butter in pan then put into two cans of sliced potatoes season with paprika, oregano, red pepper to taste. Stir until the edges of the potatoes are crumbly.
This is my MILs recipe. With the butter potatoes she usually just does butter and salt and pepper. My husband and I tend to add oregano, thyme, red pepper, paprika, dill and a few other random seasonings. You can make whichever way you prefer. We love spices but if you don’t just use salt and pepper.
