Tasty Tuesdays- Green Beans and Bacon

I served these with Easter dinner on Sunday and I thought you guys would enjoy. My siblings and I have a serious obsession with them. We burn our hands trying to pull them out of the pan right after they are done. They are easy to make, you just need a few simple ingredients.

1 lb fresh green beans
4-6 slices of bacon, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion or green onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tbs butter

Blanch the green beans until they get that wonderful bright green color. Pull them out and put them in a frying pan (I have to use my Wok) with the butter and the chopped bacon. Stir around and then add onion and garlic. Let it all saute in the pan until the bacon is crispy. Serve on plate preferably but if you are like us, those green beans will never make it.
