Indoor At Home Workout



I don't have time to hit the gym every day. Working out is really important to both me and my husband, but since we both work and have two littles at home, finding making time to hit the gym never seems to happen. It isn't such a big deal in the summer — we throw the kids in the stroller and go for a run — but we live in a place with a long, cold winter. It is dark by the time we are ready for a workout and we have been looking for something we could do at home. We have tried Pilates, Tae Bo and other workout videos, but while we liked them, they just weren't what we were looking for. I wanted a workout that:
  • I could do inside
  • I could do while watching a show (It is our only time we have for TV)
  • That was relatively quick
  • That toned well
  • That wasn't so hard I would give up
  • That wasn't so easy it stopped being challenging fast
I really think we have found a great workout that meets all of these stipulations. My husband has been doing it for more than year and it is still challenging without being overly exhausting. It is perfect for someone who wants a quick workout at home. The workout requires three sets. So complete each step and then repeat two more times. First complete 10 pushups.


Next, 20 crunches or sit ups. You can start with crunches and work your way up to sit ups.


Hold a 20 second plank.


Hold a wall sit for 35 seconds.


10 squats


10 lunges. Five on each leg.

Repeat the entire set two more times.
