Skinny Ranch Dressing

I love Pizza. Like a LOOOOOOVVVEEEE Pizza. I could eat it almost every day. My husband teases me all that time that I am the only adult he knows that loves pizza more than kid. It has all the best ingredients in one place. Bread? Check. Cheese? Check? Awesome toppings? Double check! The only thing that makes pizza better is dipping it in ranch dressing.
Recently, I have been trying to avoid dipping my pizza in ranch to avoid the extra calories. Instead of skipping out on my favorite dressing, I decided to make a skinnier version of it at home and it turned out amazing!

For the Ranch Mix You will need:

  • 2/3 C. Buttermilk Powder
  • 1/4 C. Dried Parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Dried Onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp. Dill
  • 2 tsp. Dried Chives
  • 2 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Pepper

Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and stir together until well combined. Place the powder in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to three months.

I truly love pizza. I am pretty sure it has been a part of every birthday that I have had since I was a little one. Brick Oven style, thin crust. It is all delicious! We have pizza at least once a week in our house and when we eat it at home, we prefer Red Baron Brick Oven style. I even made it for my mom and sister this last week and they were truly impressed with the cheese pizza. It is really good and not just for a frozen pizza.
I love to keep some in my freezer at all times so I have a quick meal if I need it. Pair that with the ranch mix I keep in my fridge and you have a fast and delicious meal!

Do you dip your pizza?

OMG I dip my pizza in ranch, too, and everyone always tells me I'm weird for doing it. Glad to hear I am not alone.

I'm not a huge ranch fan, but I dip way too many foods in Honey Mustard sauce, so I understand the dipping appeal.

My son loves ranch on everything. When he was little he dipped strawberries in it. I love that this is a healthy version of a common favorite dressing.

Well that is an awesome idea! The buttermilk powder – I haven't ever used that, but seeing the container, my mom always had it around! I love to make homemade ranch, but mine is decidedly unhealthy, I am definitely giving this a try!

I have never been a fan of ranch. As a kid I never liked it and now as an adult I still don't like ranch. I do like to dip my pizza in blue cheese dressing though.

Thanks for the recipe! I live in India and cannot get buttermilk powder. Do you have any ideas for a substitute? Would regular milk powder work?
