Ice Cream is my absolute favorite summer treat. Milkshakes, soft serve or out of a carton, I will take it anyway it comes. I love most flavors although my favorite is homemade cake batter ice cream with sprinkles.

No Churn, Homemade Cake Batter Ice Cream

I have always wanted to own an ice cream maker so I could whip up my own ice cream flavors, but the space an ice cream maker will take up in my pantry has always been the thing that has stopped me. The first time I made no churn ice cream I was thrilled to have found a way to make my own ice cream flavors without having to have the traditional ice cream making supplies.

Place all of the mixture in a loaf pan and then smooth out the top. Cover with tinfoil and put in the freezer for at least 8 hours, but overnight is better.

I do love soft serve ice cream the best-preferably chocolate! I may try to make ice cream this way–sounds good to me! As for teeth–take care of them–I had genetically bad teeth so nothing would have helped–but if you can keep those teeth.

I found an old-fashioned ice cream maker at a yard sale last year, but have yet to use it. It is just so much easier to make my no-churn banana ice cream. This looks like a version my family would love too. PINed.

This looks so tasty! I actually have an ice cream maker, but it can be such a pain to drag out and keep frozen etc. Also need to try that Colgate pen! I have very sensitive teeth as well.

Is it ok to eat the cake batter raw? I know there are no eggs in it, but is the raw flour in the mix ok to eat?

This looks delicious! Cake batter is my favorite flavor and I would love to make it at home!

I let my granddaughter try this and it was fun and delicious!!!! Then we decided to use a butter pecan cake mix and chopped pecans with the basic recipe as is. Holy moly did you start some good times at our house! Thank you so much. She had a blast and we all loved the results.
