This week, I am going to show you to make the snowman page.
You will need:
1 full color sheet of felt. Try to pick something that is not white, black, tan or orange.
1 full sheet of white felt
scraps of black, orange and tan felt
Cut a free hand piece of white felt. Make sure the felt goes across the whole page and comes up tall on at least one side. Sew the felt on, on three of the sides, leaving the top open. Cut the shapes out. You can use your own shapes, or download my pattern from here. The pattern is nothing fancy, but it may give you some idea. You will need, three different shaped white circles, two stick arms, one carrot nose, one top hat and a bunch of small black buttons.
I also cut some small pieces of white and hand stitched them onto the background to give more on an appearance of snowing.
The little kids in my Sunday school class, could not get enough of this page today. When they are all done playing, just scoop the pieces up and hide them behind the snowman. Easy!

That is great! And I love the 'storage' of the pieces that make up the snowman! Cute idea. 🙂

Hi dear!
I am currently fundraising for St. Jude Children hospital Give Thanks 5K Benefit walk! I will be participating in the Marathon on November 20th. I am asking you, along with some other fellow blog friends because I can see that you ladies have such great hearts, and your reliable!
I'm not asking you to donate money, I'm simply asking you to spread the word. If its not too much to ask, could you please mention my fundraiser in a blog post, as well as a link to my give thanks site so people can donate. Of course if you want to donate and help out it would be GREATLY appreciated. But, PLEASE Im begging that you help me spread the word!
