Is there anyway to make Lasagna a more comforting home cooked meal? Absolutely! Replace those long noodles with Ravioli and you have a delicious, cheesy, new take on an old favorite. The best part of this Ravioli Lasagna is that it is SO easy to make. I always seem to make a huge mess of my kitchen when I make lasagna and with this version, there is no mess. One pan and an hour later, you have a masterpiece.

Ravioli Lasagna

You will need:

  • Frozen Cheese Ravioli (About 1.5 lbs or a package and a half)
  • 8 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 8 oz Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Jars Bertolli Riserva Marinara Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • Aluminum Foil
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Add a layer of sauce on the bottom of the pan. Thoroughly coating it. Place a single layer of ravioli that is still frozen across the bottom. Three or four ravioli wide.

Add more sauce on top of the ravioli and then coat with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Add another layer of Ravioli, then more sauce and more mozzarella. Add one more layer of Ravioli and then more sauce and the rest of the mozzarella. Top with all of the Parmesan cheese.

Cover the entire pan with a layer of foil and bake in a 400 degree oven for 35 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes or until everything is melty and bubbly. Serve hot with warm garlic bread for ultimate taste!

That looks awesome! I wish my daughter would eat pasta, but she won't touch the stuff. Not even mac and cheese!

What a great idea! My kids love ravioli, but I get bored with the same old thing. This would be a fun way to make it! And probably something my 7 year old could do with my supervision.

I make an almost identical version of this dish except I add a layer of spinach. Always trying to sneak in extra veggies!

Do you know I've never had Ravioli lasagna. I've had lasagna and I've had ravioli, but never both together. How cool.

You had me at ravioli and lasagna. Combining the two is a genius idea. I think my favorite part of both these dishes is the cheese, and this give you both in one.
