If you are looking for a perfect and easy banana bread recipe, look no further. This recipe is perfect for adding chocolate chips, nuts or just eating plain! We make it at least a few times a month, it is just that good.

Cream together the bananas, sugar, and the shortening. (I find the longer I let these ingredients cream, the better the bread.)
Add the remaining ingredients and place in a greased and floured bread pan. (This recipe makes two loaves.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (poke with a toothpick or something small to make sure it is done, if not let it stay in for another 5 minutes. Continue until the toothpick comes out clean.)
Want to know a trick? The darker the bananas the better the bread, as long as you don’t get into moldy regions of darkness because nobody wants that.=! This recipe is really moist and delicious!
