Take a thick piece of french bread. Spread soft butter or garlic butter on top.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if you used plain butter instead of garlic butter, make sure to use garlic salt.
Place 2-3 slices of tomato on top, just enough to cover the bread.
Pour a small amount of olive oil and vinegar, a sprinkling of both is plenty.
Top with a piece of provolone cheese and the Parmesan.
Toss the Marv N’ Joes in your toaster oven or you broiler until the cheese is bubbly and starts to brown. The browning is very important. A perfect Marv N’ Joe is browned around the edges and has a little crisp to it.
