  • French Bread
  • Garlic Salt or Garlic Butter and Salt
  • Butter
  • Pepper
  • Tomatoes sliced
  • Provolone cheese slices
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Oil
  • Vinegar

  • Take a thick piece of french bread. Spread soft butter or garlic butter on top.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if you used plain butter instead of garlic butter, make sure to use garlic salt.
  • Place 2-3 slices of tomato on top, just enough to cover the bread.
  • Pour a small amount of olive oil and vinegar, a sprinkling of both is plenty.
  • Top with a piece of provolone cheese and the Parmesan.
  • Toss the Marv N’ Joes in your toaster oven or you broiler until the cheese is bubbly and starts to brown. The browning is very important. A perfect Marv N’ Joe is browned around the edges and has a little crisp to it.
