Easy “Pin the Tail” Game

September 12, 2013 by Wifeeclectic 1 Comment

When I was getting ready for our The Little Mermaid party, I wanted to include a fun “Pin the tail” type of game. It was always a game I enjoyed as a child, and my little girl loves it too. I was willing to purchase a game, but I couldn’t find anything that matched our theme. I finally found this darling Little Mermaid place mat and I knew it would make the perfect game that could then be used for something else.

You will need:
a character place mat
white printer paper
construction paper
scissors
tape

Trace the part of your place mat that you want to use as the “tail.” In this case, it really is a tail. I traced the mermaid tail onto white paper and then used the piece of white paper as a pattern to cut out the tails on green construction paper. Put a piece of tape on the back and you have you easy pin the tail game! I love that it is easy and I love that we now use it at dinner.
