I am thrilled with how these necklaces turned out and they only took about 10 minutes a piece, and that is for a bubble necklace beginner!
You will need from Fizzy Pops:
- 35 mm red flowers
- 24 mm white beads
- 8mm blue beads
- 8mm red beads
- 6mm spacer beads
- 6mm jump rings
- lobster clasps
- crimp beads
- beading wire
First you will need to cut your wire the desired length of your necklace plus 1.5 inches on each side. My wire is 22 inches long, plus the 1.5 inches on each side, for a total of 25 inches.
Close a 6mm jump ring and slide it on the end of your wire. Loop the wire around the ring and then slide two crimp beads over both sections of wire. Use a pair of pliers to crimp the crimp beads down until they are tight and flat. You can also add an extender chain at this point, if you want to. For detailed instructions on adding an extender chain, check out the Fizzy Pops tutorial here.
After your beads are crimped. you are ready to add your necklace beads. Here is my necklace pattern for this necklace:
Three small blue
Three small red
Three small blue
Red rose bead
Three small blue
Three small red
Repeated 3x, minus the last large white bead. Add 2 crimp beads to finish.
Slide a lobster clasp onto a 6mm jump ring and then close the jump ring. Slide the jump ring onto the wire and then double back the wire through the crimp beads and a couple extra of the necklace beads. Crimp the crimp beads until they are tight and then trim the excess wire.
My girls absolutely love these necklaces, especially the cute little roses on the bottom. All I need now is to learn how to add all the geekiness to a necklace.

These necklaces are adorable! They look great with the girls dresses. My daughter had her red, white and blue dress on today and asked for a necklace to wear with her dress.

Those are beautiful and you did a great job. I personally can't wear jewelry that isn't gold so can't make them for myself but I can see me making one for my daughter. Love it!

Those are too cute and perfect for my big July 4th cookout. My nieces would love them.

Your beautiful girls seems to really love those necklaces. I didn't know if we can make necklaces as simple as you've showed on this post. It definitely inspired me to make my own nekclace.

I REALLY love the big red rose! These are just perfect for the 4th coming up. Now to find a little girl to make one of these for!

So cute! I love how easy they were to make! One of my son's friends has a little sister that is always making things with beads and it really helps to keep her entertained during their little league games. I love the red rose as well:)
So totally adorable – and it's great that they're pretty easy to make. I'd probably do something with yellow roses or in a Kayle parasol theme (from Firefly) if I were letting the nerd out. 🙂

These are really cute, and I love the colors! They would be great for the upcoming 4th of July holiday! I would probably make a green and red one for Christmas.
I love these! And I think my daughter would love to wear one! I used to do a ton of beading when I was younger…I'm not sure why I don't still do it, this makes me want to start again.

I really like the red, white and blue. Beading has always been a favorite of mine. I started the hobby as a child and it just stuck with me.
