Take your typical Oreo cookie up a notch with these sprinkle Oreo Pops. A simple dip in chocolate and then topped with sprinkles makes these extra special.
Oreo Pops
Pink and red have been every where in our house this month. We love adding a little bit of Valentine’s Day love to all of our favorite treats and cookies are no exception. These Oreo pops are easy to make, and more fun than just a single cookie usually is!
You will need:
- Popsicle sticks
- white melting chocolate
- Valentine’s Day Sprinkles
- Oreos or Jo Jos
Add a stick to each cookie. You can either simply slide a stick up the middle, making sure to stop halfway so the cookie doesn’t split apart, or you can split the cookie, add the stick and then use a small dab of melted chocolate to stick it back together again.
Add a handful of white candy melts to a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir the melts and then microwave for 30 seconds. Repeat until the chocolate is completely melted and stirs together easily.
Dip the each side of the of cookie pop in the chocolate and then immediately dip them in sprinkles. You can add chocolate and sprinkles to the edges too or just leave them on the sides. Allow the pops to set on a sheet of wax paper. When the chocolate and sprinkles are set, you can enjoy them right away or give them as Valentines.
