Instead of planting the garden early this year we decided to make little garden Snack Pack pudding cups instead. We had so much fun making these and we can’t wait to be able to plant the real thing!

Easter is on its way! The snow is finally melting and it looks like spring is just around the corner. My kids are excited for dyeing Easter eggs, going on egg hunts, and of course, planting our garden. We usually plant around Easter, but since Easter is so early this year we decided to make little garden Snack Pack®s instead. We had so much fun making these and we can’t wait to be able to plant the real thing!

For all of the Snack Pack® cups you will need:

  • A Popsicle stick
  • chocolate cookies with the middle scraped out and crushed
  • black marker
Add the crushed cookies to the top of each of the Snack Pack® cups for the dirt. Label the Popsicle stick and push it into the pudding.

For the Peas You will need:

  • Green taffy
  • Green sour straws
  • Green chocolate balls

Stretch the taffy candy and form a little pocket.

Add two chocolate candies to the taffy pocket.

Snack Pack pudding cups

Place the little peas on top of the cookie dirt and add some sour straws for vines.

For the Tomato Snack Pack® You Will Need:

  • Green taffy
  • Green sour straws
  • Red chocolate balls

Stretch the taffy and wrap around the red chocolate. Add it to the Snack Pack with sour straws for vines.

Pudding cups

For the Carrot Snack Pack® you will need:

  • Strawberries
  • Orange dipping chocolate
  • Wax paper

Add a handful of orange candy melts to a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir the melts and then microwave for another 30 seconds. Repeat until the chocolate is completely melted and stirs together easily. Wash and pat the strawberries dry with a paper towel. Then dip each one in the chocolate. Lay on wax paper until the chocolate is set.

Garden Pudding Cups

For the Corn Snack Pack® You Will Need:

  • Green taffy
  • Green sour straws
  • Yellow candy rolls

Roll small pieces of the flavored candy rolls into small snakes. Stretch the taffy and wrap around the candy rolls and a piece of sour straw. Stick the sour straws into the Snack Pack®.

Garden Snack Pack Pudding Cups

Finish all four and you have yourself a darling little pudding garden!

I am literally just smiling to myself right now. Those are some of the cutest treats I have ever seen. How fun would that be for a school snack and let the kids add their choice of "fruit or veggie"?
