Delicious Ham fried Rice recipe full of authentic flavors and made gluten free with some simple substitutions.

Gluten Free Ham Fried Rice

We make a lot of Asian inspired dishes in our house, they are easy to make gluten-free without sacrificing any of the flavors that we love. This particular dish is one that I make about once a week, it is nice to have everyone eat without complaining and the substitutions to make it gluten-free are really simple.

You will need:

  • 2 T. sesame oil
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1.5 cup peas and carrots
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 3 T. gluten free soy sauce

Add the sesame oil to a hot pan. Add the peas, carrots and ham to the pan. Saute until the veggies are nice and soft.

Make a well in the middle of the ham and veggies. Add the eggs to the middle of the pan and scramble. After the egg is well scrambled, mix it together with the vegetables and ham.

Add the three cups of rice and the soy sauce and stir until everything is combined. Cook until heated through.

This looks so good. I don't cook that much with ham because I just forget about it! It would be a great change from our usual weeknight dinners. Pinning for next week!
