I wanted to decorate my wall but my problem as always is that there is never enough money to do what I want. This ended up being my simple solution. I used a scrapbook frame to hang a 12×12 scrapbook page I had created. It gave my wall some flair without breaking the bank.
I was able to find black 5×7 frames at the dollar store, so the only thing that really cost me any money was the scrapbook frame and they often go on sale at Micheal’s.
I desaturated all my photos, so they are not quite black and white but aren’t full color either. If you want to learn how to do that, go here.
Well, what do you think?
I am following you back :o)

What an awesome idea! I've been trying to figure out ways to redo our pictures in our livingroom. I didn't want to have quite so many. And I love the desaturating idea too. For our living room, I didn't want to take them all the way down to black & white because ours is done in really warm, earthy tones. But this looks perfect. Thanks!
Very cool! Following back π

Thanks for stopping by! I am following you now. I love doing scrapbook pages in shadow boxes so I can add 3-D elements to the pictures. It's just bulkier scrapbooking!
