It was a happy day in our house when this little goodie dropped on our doorstep from CSN Stores. When I pulled this out of the box, my little girl literally squealed in delight. She immediately dumped out the toolbox and went to town with the hammer.
After spending some time with the nuts and bolts of Melissa and Doug toys, I have to say I am impressed. These high quality wood toys are exactly what I am looking for. In a day and age where younger and younger kids are plugged into technology, toys like the Take-Along Tool Set promote imaginative play. My little girl walked around for hours hammering the doors and telling me she could “fis it.”
There were no batteries involved in her play. I did not have to listen to hours of annoying toy music and at the end of the day both of us still loved this toy. I can’t say that about a lot of toys, I am usually ready to hide a toy at the end of the day.
I didn’t feel like I had to watch her every second with this toy either. The pieces are large and well made, so I was not worried about paint chipping or wood splinters. I am so impressed with this toy, I am hoping to add to our Melissa and Doug toy collection soon.
It was such a breeze to order this toy from CSN stores, that I am hoping to get a lot of my Christmas shopping done at their online store. They have a massive selection of good, high quality toys, including Melissa and Doug toys.

Melissa and Doug toys are great. I have given some to my grandsons in the past.
