I love my holidays. Every one. You have probably heard me say I have a tradition for everything and St. Patrick’s day is no exception. I do a full green dinner complete with green rolls, green Jello, steamed broccoli, pesto and Leprechaun Floats.
Leprechaun floats are a favorite around here. They are easy and quite the child pleaser. All you need is Sprite or 7-Up and some lime sherbet. Make a float just like you would a root beer float and tell your child stories of St. Patrick’s Day. Leprechaun floats will always be a favorite because they are so easy and because nobody’s St. Patrick’s day is complete without some green food. 🙂
What traditions do you have for St. Patrick’s Day?

I love sherbet and fizz floats 🙂 This is easy enough that I think I can manage it for the holiday! I am thinking I will try the rainbow trifle I've seen around…

I'll be making this for the first time when the in-laws come this weekend to celebrate two birthdays on Patty's Day!!!

That looks much tastier than the green cream of wheat my mom always made me for St. Patrick's Day. This year we have plans to make Eric shape some green pancake batter into shamrocks. 🙂 Also, possibly some green mint cookies I found on pinterest.
