My younger daughter absolutely loves Monsters INC. and of course Mike Wazowski. I’m not sure why he holds the favorite title over Sully but this cute little green monster was definitely someone we wanted to had to our project of No Carve Pumpkins. Mike Wazowski is very easy to make, he mostly just needs a little bit of paint. I made mine with a dollar store pumpkin but you could use a larger fake pumpkin or a real pumpkin whichever you want. I always use the fake pumpkins for our no carve masterpieces because then I can save them all in a box and pull them all out next year and I don’t have to throw away all of my work.

This pumpkin is pretty darn easy to make. First paint the entire pumpkin a light shade of green. You may need several coats of green to cover the orange completely. After the green has dried, paint a large circle in the middle of your pumpkin. This will be his eye. When the white dries, add a black pupil and green around it. For his mouth add a black smile and then fill that smile in with little white teeth.
Out of a cereal box, cut two triangles. Paint both sides of the triangle green. After it has dried completely, hot glue the triangles to Mike Wazowski’s head to be his horns.
Allow the pumpkin to dry completely before displaying. If you want your Mike Wazowski to have a little bit of a gloss to him, spray the entire pumpkin with a clear gloss spray paint. This will make him shiny and protect the pumpkin for years to come.
