I can’t believe it is almost Valentine’s Day already. Does February always seem to fly by for anybody else? Today I am sharing my last Valentine for 2014.
This is actually the Valentine I created to give to my little girl from my husband and I. My mom always had a Valentine, usually a little box of chocolates, for each of us when we woke up on Valentine’s Day. It was never something big and fancy, just a little something to celebrate the day. It is a tradition I loved and decided I wanted to carry one with our family. This year, she is getting a cute pair of Owl socks to go along with the Valentine.
You will need:
- The printable Valentine at the end of this post
- a small treat to attach to the card (I found the cute owl socks in the dollar bins at Target, but you could attach a piece of candy to make these more affordable to give to a class.)
- Twine or tape
Cut out each Valentine and have your child address them to each of their friends. Attach the socks using a piece of twine tied around both the card and the socks or a piece of candy using double stick tape.
