Who hasn’t dreamed of an owl bringing them a letter? Owl Post is one of my favorite parts of the Harry Potter series, the image of owls bringing letters into the great hall, the owlry and of course the persistence of the owls in getting Harry his letter. JK Rowling took owls to a whole new level. I wanted to catch that love of owls and owl post in this valentine, where a little owl brings each child a pencil or other small toy.
Owl Post Harry Potter Valentine
You will need:
- the printable at the end of this post
- scissors and a xacto knife
- pencils
Print the printable at the end of this post on sturdy card stock. I like to print all of my printables on card stock to help give them added durability, but this one in particular needs the extra strength.

Cut out each of the valentines and have your child address them to all of their classmates. Use an x-acto knife to make two slices on the valentine, right over the claws of the owl. You will need to cut a little lower into the the white spaces as well. Slide a pencil into each valentine.
Would’t your kids love to get their very own piece of owl post?
