When I was working on my little girls doctor bag, there was one thing she kept reminding me. She needed a “shot.” Apparently she has been tortured enough at the doctor’s in her life and wanted to be able torture others, or it is just the most memorable part of the doctor’s office.
Since these little plastic medical dosage syringes look pretty close to a needle, I thought we would just spruce it up a little bit.
The only thing it really needed was some sort of liquid inside. Enter nail polish. I took red nail polish and coated the sides. I used a paper towel to catch any drips and then used the paper towel to repeatedly blot the syringe. You don’t want any excess on the sides. If there is excess it will get scraped off when you use the syringe.
Continue to blot the syringe with a paper towel until you don’t have any more red dots. Allow it to dry adequately and then add to your doctor bag. This little toy is one of her favorite parts of her doctor bag, she is always asking if she can give people “shots!”

That's a really cute idea!
Great update. I loved the story so much i featured it as one of my favourite reads this week.
What fun! We used to give each other shots and also medicine (Good'n'Plenty candy). 🙂 Another clever idea, Debra, and now I'm going to go look at that doctor bag!
