Going along with my trying to get back into the swing of blogging, I decided to throw a new recipe at you. Here is to introducing Chicken Pillows.
Ingredients 4 oz. Cream cheese ¼ C. Margarine ¾ C. Fresh mushrooms 11/2 C. Cooked chicken 1 T. Parsley Salt and pepper to taste 1 roll Crescent rolls 2 packages. Chicken gravy
Mix cream cheese and margarine and till smooth. Add other ingredients. Put 3 T. of mixture in crescent roll. Form into a pillow, sealing the contents inside a little pouch. Dip in melted margarine then bread crumbs. Bake at 375º for 20 to 28 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with chicken gravy
I am normally super opposed to using store bought gravy packets. I grew up with gravy from scratch and for the longest time didn’t even know that gravy packets existed. However, in this meal, packets are just easier and make it go much, much faster. If you are a from scratch person, go ahead and make your own but I know most of us just need dinner to be done. I hope you enjoy. 🙂

I usually add chopped tomatoes and don't do the bread crumbs and gravy. But yuuuum.

For a little zing, you can use the Garden Vegetable cream cheese. Much easier since you don't have to add any other "spice" to it.
