Tasty Tuesdays- Lemonade Pie + Link up your recipes

September 7, 2010 by Wifeeclectic 6 Comments

This is a SUPER easy recipe that my MIL makes. It is delicious and I could eat the whole pan by myself.

LEMONADE PIE
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
Lg. frozen lemonade
1 graham cracker
2 graham cracker crusts (Or you can make your own with graham cracker and butter.
For this recipe, I usually use three packages of graham crackers and 12ish tablespoons of butter. Come on, use the good stuff, not margarine. You will be glad you did. I just crush graham crackers (Very therapeutic, great recipe for your anger.:) Then add melted butter so I can press it into the pan. Then I bake at 350 degrees for about 7-9 minutes. If you are going to make your own crusts, this recipe fits a 9×13 pan great! )

Slightly soften ice cream. Mix lemonade in thoroughly. Put in graham cracker crusts. Crush cracker and sprinkle on pie. Freeze until solid.

I have decided to try and allow people to link up their recipes today. We will see how it goes. 🙂 Please link back to Housewife Eclectic in your post, saying your joining our Tasty Tuesday party!

Yummy! I'm craving ice cream today but trying to stick to my diet, now I'll have to resist the urge to make this 🙂 I might try Tasty Tuesdays on my blog, but I'll probably start next week.

I love ice cream pies but I have never made one with lemonade mixed in. Genius idea! I don't have any recent recipes to link up to, but I love this one and may have to try it soon!

That recipe looks good – especially with the Indian Summer we seem to be enjoying. Thanks for the link-ups! I added my recipe for lasagna. 🙂
