We love smoothies in our house. When we we were dating, we would go out for smoothies at least once a week. Imagine my dismay when I found out in South Texas, pretty much the only place you can get a smoothie is Mcdonalds. So instead of going out for smoothies, we now make them at home. Here are some of my favorite smoothie recipes.
Breakfast Strawberry
1 cup milk
1/2 cup strawberry yogurt
1/2-1 banana (depending on how much you like banana)
4 fresh strawberries with stems cut off
2 tablespoons orange juice
Add ingredients and then blend until smooth
Berry Lime
2 cups limeade
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 banana (optional)
1 cup lime sherbet
1 tablespoon lime juice
Add the juice, then the fruit, then blend
Sparkling Berry
2.5 cups sparkling grape juice
2 cups frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup pineapple sherbet
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Add the juice, then the fruit, then blend
Raspberry
1 cup milk
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 banana sliced
1/2 cup apple juice
1/2 cup raspberry yogurt
Add the juice, then the fruit, then blend

delish! I think the berry lime would be good. i'm not really a fan of yogurt.
