My daughter loves to make snowflakes and I can’t tell you how many times I have looked up online how you are supposed to fold a pieces of paper to make a snowflake. When I discovered this way of making snowflakes I was floored! It is SO easy, all you need is a stack of coffee filters which you can find at the dollar store and some scissors. These are so easy, my 6-year-old can make them all by herself. I have made a simple infographic to help you out!
What are some of your favorite traditions to do with your children?
We made a bunch of these last year as an EOTS prank. Fun craft idea.
So smart…love that you started with the coffee filter!
Fun! Coffee filters have lots of uses!
That is such a great idea. I never thought to use those for snowflakes.
Such cute snowflakes! I have always wanted to make paper snowflakes, but I am so not crafty and could never figure out how to do it. Thanks for sharing!
Adorable! And such an easy way to get some window decor inexpensively!
I love making paper snowflakes!
I totally remember making these when I was in elementary school. This is such a fun craft.
What a cute, fun way to make snowflakes! This reminds me, I've got some snowflake clings to get up on the window. I think I'll have the kids help me do that today (they love that kind of thing). 🙂
Ah these are perfect! I know I have coffee filters around the house.
These are cute! I loved making these when I was in grade school!
Ok, I definitely need to do this with my kiddos! Such a cute craft!
So much fun! I know what my kids are doing next week on break.
Coffee filters – nice choice. I love this holiday craft, and how it turned out too!
