Once upon a time, last October, my Sister-in-law was married. I was extremely fortunate to be able to fly to Utah to take the pictures for their wedding. The day the got married was beautiful, but bright. I kept trying to urge those clouds to give me some cover, but they were being stubborn.
One of my favorite things about shooting this wedding was the bright colors of her bouquet. It is one of the things I would change about my wedding if I could go back. What was I thinking? All white roses against a white dress? I think I still would have done my colors the same way but I would have thrown the colors out the window when it came to my bouquet.
All in all, it was a really fun wedding to shoot. The bride and groom were up for anything, even climbing into the fountain and it is always fun (but a little stressful,) to shoot a family wedding.
I had to include a picture of the flower girls, mostly because the cute little one in the middle holding out the flower is my little girl. The girls are dressed in brown, orange and cream.
I debate myself often on whether or not to share my photo shoots on this blog. Today I went with go for it. We will see what tomorrow brings.

I really like those. My florist had the right idea: I carried colors in my bouquet and the girls carried more white with a little color thrown in. While all white can be very pretty in a bouquet, I like the color against a white dress. I love the shadowed picture – and the one with the girls. Great pics!
