Thrift store frames + Vinyl = a match made in heaven

I have something on almost every wall in my house. I know, I over do it, but I just love photos too much to let the walls sit empty. This wall has been aching to be decorated since we moved into our townhouse and I finally came up with the perfect solution for my budget and for the wall.

The 8×10 frames are all thrift store frames that I brought home sanded and painted black to match. The smaller black frames came from the dollar store, some of them in two packs. Then I looked for some of the weirdest photos I could of our family. I made one collage of our little girl with all of her different faces. I then created one of my husband and I being crazy, we seem to have a lot of photos of us doing weird things together. I wonder if I bring out the weird in him or vice versa. I picked a few more normalish photos and rearranged the frames on the floor until I liked the arrangement. Then I hung it on the wall and added the words “Remember as far as anyone knows we are a Normal family.”

It just seemed to fit our family. I know we are slightly unhinged, so why shouldn’t everybody else. 🙂 What vinyl decor do you have in your house?
