Truffle Party Favors

September 1, 2013 by Wifeeclectic 32 Comments

Disclosure: I participated in this post on behalf of Burst Media. I was compensated for my time and commitment, but all opinions are my own. This post is sponsored by GODIVA.

When I throw a baby shower, I love it when everything matches. All the way down to the little details. I have made a lot of party favors in my life, but none have gotten such a good as these simple little pots with a truffle inside. They are easy to make and they really have wow factor.

You will need:
Small ceramic pots (You can buy these at the craft store)
Paint in the color scheme of your party
Ribbon that matched or coordinates with the paint
Cellophane
GODIVA Truffle Flights™ in your choice of Nut Lovers Truffle Flights™  Nut Lovers Truffle Flights™  Heavenly Mousse Truffle Flights™  Cake Truffle Flights™  Ultimate Dessert Truffle Flights™ or Milk Chocolate Lovers Truffle Flights™

First paint your pots and allow to dry. Wrap each individual truffle in cellophane and tie with a ribbon. When the pots are dry, add a truffle to each. They should be just the right size to sit on the top. Then you can arrange the all of the pots on a tray or at each place setting, depending on the type of party. These cute favors can match your decor perfectly and the truffles themselves are impressive.
Truffle Flights™ are a new chocolate experience from GODIVA. There are six different varieties that contain some old favorites and some new flavors. In each variety, the truffles are lined up for the optimal tasting experience. In this brand new idea, the order of the truffles matters in giving your taste buds the most rich flavors. You can share, or get the full Truffle Flights™ experience by eating them in order.
My mom lived in Belgium for a couple of years in her 20s and has spent most of her life wishing to go back, just for the chocolate. Every time she would buy chocolate, she would take a bite and tells us it was good, but not Belgium. GODIVA founded in Belgium in 1926, was the first chocolate I ever saw her say was as good as what she ate in Europe. GODIVA is already has that creamy flavor unique to European Chocolate, but with new truffles such as Salted Caramel and Salted Almond, they are taking their tastes to new levels.
Godiva Truffle Flights™ are available in boutiques nationwide as well as at  Godiva.com/truffles! One lucky Housewife Eclectic reader will win their very own Milk Chocolate Truffle Flights™. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter.

My favorite? Um, all of it! Lately, Snickers. Usually I prefer milk or white over dark, though, as a general rule.

Milk chocolate with peanut butter, or dark chocolate with almonds! However, if it's really good chocolate I suppose it doesn't need any additions!

I love chocolate mixed with something else: nuts, peanut butter, mint. I also love super-creamy chocolate. I'd love to have the chance to try these.
