Have a million things on your to-do list? Which ones get done first? Which ones get done at all?
If the first/at-all determination comes from your highly organized list, kudos to you!
If you’d like to create a highly organized list in order to make better first/at-all determinations, try one of these:
TeuxDeux is a simple daily to-do list. I love the straightforward and simply beautiful interface (sorry, I let my nerd out there…). You can also add items to the someday list. Check out this video to see all the bells and whistles of TeuxDeux.
HiTask is a more in-depth task and project management program, more like Outlook or other complex calendars. Work together as part of a team, assign deadlines and due dates, and schedule meetings or other time commitments. And, you can see a simplified list using their iGoogle gadget.
Ta-da List gives you simple to-do lists — as many of them as you want. On the home page, each list shows how many items are left on the list.
Remember the Milk not only has an awesome name, it allows you to prioritize your task lists (Personal, Study, Work, etc) as well as create timelines for tasks and postpone those less-important pesky tasks that just don’t happen quite on time. Print your list or link with iCalendar to remember on the go.
Just a To-do List is a simple program meant to bring your to-do list (or lists) to your homepage and therefore to the front of your memory. Sign up (for a free account, of course) and set the page as your home page to see your list(s) first thing. The site is iPhone compatible, and you can have a reminder “nag” sent by email or SMS (text message) when an item on your list is coming near due.
Do It, Do It, Done is a fun to do list: you get to choose your own stationery! You can also easily share, blog, or print your list, and the friends that you share with can add task (and cross them off). Use the mini-me gadget to keep your list open without taking up your whole browser and screen.
Edited to add: For those of you wondering which one I use personally, it’s actually none of these! I think these are all marvelous, but I run my online life from iGoogle. I really like HiTask’s iGoogle gadget, but it doesn’t allow me to add new tasks from iGoogle, only view and check off tasks. So, I use this To Do List gadget for iGoogle for my to-do lists and Sticky Note to jot myself notes, also in iGoogle. I apologize for not including these in the original post… it took me a minute to figure out how to find the original gadget’s page. 🙂
Happy to-do-ing!

Which one is your favorite? i think i'd like TeuxDeux – especially with a someday option.
Oh my…I can see that I need to get much more organized!
So many options. Who knew? I like the look of Do It, Do It, Done. It looks like a list I'd write myself.
I'm curious too. Which is your personal favorite?
Thanks for this. I've been looking at different to-do list apps and there were a couple here that I hadn't heard of.
