Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Grands!™ Refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing
  • Granny Smith Apples

Instructions

  • Slice the top one-third off each of your apples. I always use Granny Smith apples because the tart of the apple pairs really nicely with the sweet of the cinnamon roll.  You want to cut deep enough into the apple that you can see the star-like pattern on the inside.
  • Use a spoon (a grapefruit spoon is fantastic for this) to scoop out the inside of the apple.
  • Take a cinnamon roll and stuff it inside the apple. It will come out of the apple more in the center than the sides, but this is what helps it look like a flower.
  • Bake the apples at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and the apples are soft.  Spread the cream cheese frosting on top of the entire thing. I love to heat up the frosting just a little bit so I can drizzle the frosting over the top.
