Ingredients

  • melting chocolate in different colors we used white, blue, yellow, green, orange and red
  • toothpicks
  • bowls and spoons for each chocolate color
  • frosting and sprinkles if desired

Instructions

  • Place a handful of chocolate in a microwave-safe dish and microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds. Stir the chocolate even though it is still very firm. Microwave it for another 30 seconds and then stir again. Repeat until your chocolate is completely melted. This usually takes about 90 seconds with my microwave.
  • Open your candy wrapper but leave your chocolate eggs on top of the wrappers. This will let your kids hold them in their hands without the chocolate melting. Use the toothpicks and spoons to decorate your eggs. I let my kids go crazy with polka dots, stripes and dipping the eggs.
