Thai Influenced Steak Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless New York strip steak
  • 1/4 Cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 Cup vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 lime juice and zest
  • 1/2 Cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp sriracha
  • Corn tortillas
  • Coleslaw
  • 1-2 radishes halved and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 bunch cilantro

Instructions

  • Prepare a marinade for the meat by by whisking together the vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, sesame oil and lime zest and juice.
  • Pour the marinade over the steak in a large Ziplock bag and refrigerate 3-4 hours.
  • Remove the steak from the marinade and grill on a medium-hot grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Remove and allow the meat to rest for 5 minutes before thinly slicing.
  • Prepare the sauce by combining the mayo and hot sauce in a small bowl. Add more or less sriracha to achieve desired taste and heat.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing the steak strips on warm corn tortillas.
  • Top with coleslaw, sliced radishes and the sriracha mayo. Finish with cilantro.
