There are few things I loved more as a child than stamps. My mom had a huge collection for crafting and scrapbooking and I loved some of them so much, that my mom actually gave me my own copies of those specific stamps as a baby gift when my daughter was born. Combine that with the fact, that for numerous reasons, including my daughter’s egg allergy, I prefer non-food related Valentine’s and you come up with this one.
You will need:
- Printed copies of the Valentine found at the end of this post. (These Valentine’s have very little color on them, so they could easily be printed in black and white instead.)
- Stamp set, I found mine at the dollar store. Each set had four hearts in it.
- Stamp pad, either from the set or another one. I decided to not give each kid their own stamp pad too. It makes them a little less fun initially until they get home, but less mess for a teacher.
- Double Sided Tape
Stamp the stamp you are going to be using on to each card. Clean the stamp off thoroughly. This will leave a cute heart on the card, even after they pull the stamp off. If you are making quite a few, use one stamp set to stamp, that way you don’t have to clean every stamp. If you want to make these Valentines one step easier, forgo the stamping and just attached the a heart stamp to each.
