Simple and Easy Felt Flowers
You will need:
- Felt
- hot glue
- scissors
- pattern at the end of this post or the Cricut Cut Files
- Scissors or a Cricut
- Jewel, button or bead for the center of the flower
Step 1: Print the pattern at the bottom of this post and cut it out. Trace it onto your felt.
Step 2: Cut out the felt pieces. You will end up with a large flower swirl, and a small flower swirl. Make sure to save the circles you cut out of the center of the swirls as well.

Step 3: Gather your larger flower together, pinching your flower every half inch or so, and glue your flower to itself.

Step 4: Repeat this with the smaller flower.
Step 5: Glue the smaller flower on top of the larger flower.
Step 6: Add your embellishment to the center of the flower. A bead, jewel or button all work great.
Step 7: Add your flower to a clip, headband, or even make a stem out of a pipe cleaner.
These felt flowers are the perfect durable flower for a headband or they make darling decor glued to cardstock inside an open frame! The sky is the limit when it comes to these!

I love the felt! My husband doesn't even know about half of the felt and fabric that I buy, so he doesn't have as much chagrin as your husband.
Is that a proper use of chagrin? Or it a verb, as in, "…so he doesn't chagrin as much as your husband"? Weird word.
