Someday I am going to turn our guest room into a replica of the Great Hall. It is going to be epic complete with stone walls and flickering candles but until I can do that, I am stuck making everyday items in our house a little bit more magical. This is one of our latest Harry DIYs and it has been so much fun. My kids love to cook with me and joke that we are putting Gillyweed or Moonstone in our food. To make these jars both magical AND practical, there are printable decals for both sides. One side features the real spice in the jar and the other features something more magical!

Then add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the front of a jar. Affix the potion label and then coat the top of the label with another layer of Mod Podge. Repeat for the other side and the spice label.

Fill your jars up with spices! I tried to match the spices to the color of each potion ingredient where possible when I was putting them in jars. For instance, I used Parsley for Gillyweed and Paprika for Silverweed so the colors matched up. You can mix and match the ingredients with whichever spices you use the most.
Would you add a little magic to your spice cabinet?
