Sobbing on Skis |
A happy, smiling, skiing child. I cannot say enough great things about the ski instructors at Wolf Mountain. They not only helped my daughter conquer her fear of “slipping on the snow,” they made her love it. She has spent the days since begging me to go back. Before this experience I wasn’t sure she was old enough to learn to ski. Now, I think she skis better than I do.
I cannot believe how patient and wonderful the ski instructors were, not only with my little girl’s class, but mine as well. I went with a basic class because after being off skis for more than 15 years, I wasn’t sure I would remember how. My ski instructor was patient and knowledgeable. Something that me and the three other ladies in my class sorely needed. By the end of my lesson I really felt like I could call up my dad and ask him to go skiing with me.
We loved our experience at Wolf Mountain so much we have already planned a return trip. This time we are bringing my husband and my little sister for both of their first times on skis and I am confident they are going to love it just as much as we did!
I'm all about skiing. My husband snowboards and made me try it one year. I lasted half a day and ended up sobbing in the middle of the hill because I hurt so bad from falling down so much. I ditched the snowboard and got skis instead for the rest of the day 🙂
I was so bummed I couldn't attend this event, but I learned to ski (for the first time) at Park City Mountain Resort the day after. Now I've got the itch to ski more. I'd love to win!
What a cute little ski bunny!
I have really been wanting to learn to ski! My son just got a job at Sundance working the ski lifts. I will be going to Utah soon, so I think I might try it!
We love skiing…we took our kids the other day, all of us, as a family for the first time and it was so much fun!! We love Wolf Mountain…or The Canyons. That is where I learned to ski growing up!!!
I don't really do either. But I would be interested in learning how to do either 🙂
I want to go back! It was so much fun. I would love to do it again.
