Add some fun to your summer table with these Pineapple Flowers, they are perfect for a party or even to just get your kids to eat their fruit!
I love fresh fruit. It is one of my favorite things to serve at luncheons and showers but I don’t always like the way fruit looks just heaped onto platters because, like Iron Chef America says, at least five points come from plating your food. This is one of my favorite ways to serve fresh fruit and it gets major bonus points because it helps my kid be excited to eat it!

Step 4: Create the center of your flowers. You can do this with a melon baller and some cantaloupe or with a grape! Use a toothpick to attach the center of your flower to the pineapple.
Step 5: If you want, you can add bamboo skewers as stems. We love to add bamboo skewers and then fill them with fresh strawberries, melon and other fruit.
These little flowers work great laid out on a plate or standing up in a vase. What type of fruit would you make your flowers with?
