These cute Shamrock Pretzel pops are darling, easy to make and perfect to individually package for friends! Make a fun treat for St Patricks Day.

Shamrock Pretzel Pops

St. Patrick’s Day is one of those random holidays that I just absolutely love. I love that there are no expectations of it, so I can do nothing or go all out and nobody is upset either way. I personally LOVE going all out for St. Patrick’s Day because it is the anniversary of my husband and I’s first date and it is such a fun day to remember.

One of the things I try to do for every holiday is chocolate covered pretzels of some kind. They are my favorite treat, my mom used to make them for me at Christmas when I was a kid and it made me decide that chocolate covered pretzels should be a year round treat, not just a Christmas one. Thus, these cute Shamrock Pretzel pops. They are darling, easy to make and perfect to individually package for friends if you want to!

You will need:

  • Green Melting Chocolate
  • Pretzels
  • Sucker Sticks
  • White Sanding Sugar (sprinkles)
  • Wax Paper

Place a handful of green melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir the chocolate microwave in 30 second intervals stirring between each one until the chocolate is smooth.

Place sucker sticks on a sheet of wax paper. Dip the pretzels into the green chocolate and then assemble them into shamrocks on top of the sucker sticks. Sprinkle with sanding sugar or other fun sprinkles. Allow them to cool completely and then gently peel them off of the wax paper.

For whatever reason, I cannot locate green melting chocolate around here! I would love to make these so I think I'm going to make them white with green sprinkles.

What a fun idea. I love how you make them a cluster to look like a shamrock and not just a single pretzel. Very creative.

I'm all for holiday treats! I never thought about the similarities between pretzels and shamrocks. They do have a similar shape. I'll have to try these with my nieces. I know they'll love it!
