Chocolate Pecan Brownie Cake
You can find these glass bottles of Coca-Cola at Sam’s Club. They come in a large 24 pack. I like buying these because they are made with real sugar and no high fructose corn syrup and the 24 pack is perfect for crafting for neighbor gifts! You can also get a 4-pack of 2 liter Coke or Diet Coke for $3.98 during the holiday season!
We are full on entering the realm of neighbor gifts and teacher gifts this year, So I thought I would put together some fun Coke bottles. What I love about these gifts is that you can give them one at a time, or put a bunch of them together to make a larger gift.
Reindeer Coke Bottles
For Reindeer Bottles you will need:
- glass Coke bottles
- small google eyes
- brown pipe cleaners
- small red pom poms
- hot glue
You can use either one pipe cleaner or two to create the antlers for your reindeer. The bottle on the left was done with 1 pipe cleaner and the bottle on the right with two. Cut off a section of pipe cleaner and fold it into a V. Using hot glue, secure it to the end of the pipe cleaner to it creates the antler look. Repeat with the other side. Fold the pipe cleaner around the top of the bottle and ad a dab of hot glue to keep it in place. Hot glue the eyes and nose to the front of the bottle.
Santa Coke Bottles
For Santa Bottles you will need:
- glass Coke bottles
- white felt
- red felt
- black felt
- yellow felt
- small Santa hats or extra red and white felt
Take a long strip of red felt and hot glue it around the center of your bottle.
Hot glue a smaller strip of black felt around the middle of the red felt.
Cut a rectangle of yellow felt and then cut a small rectangle out of the center of it. Hot glue it to the front of the bottle.
Add a small Santa Hat or create one by wrapping the top of the bottle in red felt and tying it with a piece of string.
Cut a small beard out of white felt. Make sure to cut it small enough that you don’t cover the belt and then hot glue it to the front of the bottle.
Penguin Coke Bottles
For Penguin Bottles you will need:
- glass Coke bottles
- white felt
- orange felt
- felt in your color choice for hat and scarf
- string or twine
- hot glue
- google eyes
Cut a large piece of white felt. It should kind of look like a heart that has a rounded bottom. Hot glue it to the front of the bottle. Add the google eyes and a small triangle orange felt for the face. Cut a long strip of your color choice of felt and fringe the ends. Wrap it around the bottle under the face and hot glue it. Take a large piece of felt in the same color as your scarf and wrap it around the top of the bottle. Hot gluing the bottom of the felt as you go. Gather the felt at the top of the bottle, just about the cap and tie with a piece of string or twine. Fringe the end that are above the twine to make it look like a hat.
Snowmen Coke Bottles
For Snowmen Bottles you will need:
- glass Coke bottles
- white felt
- red felt
- black felt
- orange felt
I wanted really badly to make the bottle itself a snowman, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that without spray painting the bottle white and I didn’t want to do that before it had been opened, so I settled for a snowman on the front of the bottle.
This one was so super easy to make. Cut three white circles in different sizes. Hot glue them to the front of the bottle. Add a small piece of red felt to the top circle, fringe the ends to look like a scarf. Cut a small piece of black felt and then a square. Hot glue them both to the top of the bottle to be the hat. Add small piece of black felt for buttons and eyes and a piece of orange for the carrot nose.
These bottles all come together in no time flat, so you can use an entire case to make teacher gifts, neighbors gifts or friend gifts for all of your high schoolers friends!
You will need:
- 1 Devil’s Food Cake Mix
- 1 Bottle of Coke
- Pecans
- chocolate frosting
Mix together 1 package of cake mix and about 10 ounces of Coke. A can or bottle has 12 ounces in it, so you are mixing most of the bottle but not quite all of it. Grease a pan and add the cake batter to the pan. Bake according to the box directions, but plan to check on it 5-10 minutes before it is supposed to be done. In my experience this cake bakes faster than a normal cake mix.
Allow the cake to cool completely and then frost it with chocolate frosting. Sprinkle pecans over the top and you have the easiest and most delicious brownie cake ever.
Between fun neighbor gifts out of the Coca-Cola bottles and dessert for your Christmas party, it is turning out to be a festive a Coca-Cola filled season.

These are so cute! I love the santa belt! It sucks that the bottles are wrapped in giant plastic wrap – the whole point of buying glass bottles, for me, would be to avoid the plastic.

I am not sure which one of these is my favorite! I really do enjoy drinking coke from a bottle – to me it just tastes better. What fun to decorate these for the holidays.

Adorable! I love that you called out that this kind of coke doesn't have high fructose corn syrup. I have fructose malabsorption which means I can't have any HFCS … it makes me super sick. Anyway, these are so cute, and remind me of crafts that I made when I was a kid. So cute!!
