This delicious bacon cheese ball is one of my favorites and on my must have list for this year’s big game. The best part? It is super easy to make!

Bacon Cheese Ball

When I am creating my grocery list for the big game, one of my husband’s first requests is always a cheese ball. There is nothing more delicious that Ritz crackers with creamy cheese ball unless of course that cheese ball has bacon in it. This delicious bacon cheese ball is one of my favorites and on my must have list for this year’s big game. The best part? It is super easy to make!

You will need:

  • 2- 8 Oz packages of cream cheese, semi-softened
  • 8 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of Colby Jack Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped green onion
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
Combine cream cheese, bacon, cheese and onion using your kitchen aid until it is well incorporated. Form the cream cheese into a ball. If combining the ingredients my hand, you might want to make sure the cream cheese is completely softened and then refrigerate the mixture covered for a couple of hours before forming it into a ball.
Spread the pecans out onto a plate and then roll the cream cheese ball in the pecans until completely covered.

Place the cheese ball and on a plate and cover until ready to serve.

Serve with crackers and anything else you like to dip in a cheese ball.

  • 8 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup of Colby Jack Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped green onion
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans

  • Spread the pecans out onto a plate and then roll the cream cheese ball in the pecans until completely covered.

  • Serve with crackers and anything else you like to dip in a cheese ball.

Notes

If combining the ingredients my hand, you might want to make sure the cream cheese is completely softened and then refrigerate the mixture covered for a couple of hours before forming it into a ball.
Apart from picking up Ritz Crackers for the cheese ball at Walmart, some of the other things on my list for the big game include DiGorno® STUFFED CRUST pizza. I am a HUGE stuffed crust fan and I was thrilled to find a brand that makes one I can bake at home. I love that I can throw in a pizza for the kids at the party and it is good enough that even the adults want to eat it.
As for drinks, is it ever really a party without Coke? I like using the bottles at my parties because then I don’t have open cans laying every where with the potential to get knocked over.

My husband is getting more and more excited for the big game this year and I think this food and the cheese ball is going to knock it out of the park this year. What recipes are you making for the big game?

That cheese ball really does sound delicious and looks good as well–perfect for a get together any time–not only for the Big Game (which I will not be watching!). Ritz crackers are a staple in my apartment!
